Strawberry vanilla chai smoothies are made with three simple ingredients! Dairy-free, vegan, and delicious.
I am on such a smoothie kick lately! I love a good smoothie, particularly ones that are packed with berries.
Call me crazy, but I just can't get on board with this 'green smoothie' thing. Or even if the smoothie isn't green in color, if it has spinach or kale in it, I just can't drink it. Because I can't stop thinking about the fact that I'm drinking kale, and as much as I love kale, that just grosses me out. It's totally a mental thing 😛
Today I have a super delicious smoothie for you all. No veggies allowed! I want to say there are only three ingredients, because once you make your chai spice blend, that's it, three ingredients: strawberries, vanilla almond milk, and chai spice. Couldn't be simpler!
Reasons you'll ♡ these strawberry vanilla chai smoothies

I'm totally a fan of the strawberry-chai flavor combo. Remember last summer when I made strawberry-chai muffins? I stocked my freezer up with them in anticipation of our little bundle of joy's arrival, and they were pretty quick to disappear from the freezer.
There is something about the cinnamony-cardamomy-spicy chai flavors that really complements the fruity sweetness of strawberries. And the vanilla just ties it all together.
This is another dairy-free/vegan smoothie, because dairy seems to irritate Kai {ugh I miss cheeeese!!!}. I used vanilla flavored almond milk because it brought just the right amount of sweetness to the smoothie. You could also use regular (unsweetened) almond milk, add a tablespoon or two of honey to sweeten, and ½ tsp of vanilla if you would like.

Love the idea of the combination of strawberry and chai. I'm also checking your strawberry-chai muffins with a crunchy almond streusel.

Hi Mary Frances, I love your vegan key lime pie bars recipe, they look amazing! I've been loving almond milk in my smoothies, and was surprised that I don't miss having yogurt or other dairy in them. Thanks for your comment 🙂

This smoothie looks delicious! I'm with you on the green smoothie thing -- I'd rather just eat the greens later with my meal! I need to try chai in my smoothies -- it sounds really great!

Thanks, Marcie, I'm kind of obsessed with chai 😉 It works weirdly well with strawberries...any berries, really!
