-

White Bean Dip Ingredients
- White beans: Drain and rinse your can. If you prefer using dried beans, simply cook and drain before using.
- Avocado, Ginger, and Wasabi paste: Avocado makes the absolute creamiest of dips, and it balances out the kick you get from ginger and wasabi.
- Olive oil, Salt, and Lime juice: These basics bring out the best flavor in our star ingredients! Higher quality olive oils will taste better in this recipe.
How to make Spicy White Bean Dip
This recipe could not be easier! Using a large food processor (at least 7-cup capacity, fitted with a steel blade), combine all dip ingredients. Blend until smooth, then taste. Add additional wasabi, salt, or whatever else you would like to taste.
What to serve with this appetizer
We love this white bean dip garnished with a sprinkle of sesame seeds with a side of fresh, sliced veggies or with our favorite homemade pita chips (recipe is below and in the recipe card)! If serving for a party, this would be an amazing appetizer followed up with Maple Garlic Wings or Chili Lime Skewers.
Pita Chip Recipe
Pita chips are so easy to make and taste way better than store-bought versions! For this one, you will need pita bread, olive oil, sesame oil, salt, pepper, and sesame seeds.
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone liners. Cut pita bread into wedges and arrange neatly on the baking sheets. Brush each piece with both oils, then sprinkle with sesame seeds, salt, and pepper. Bake for about 7 minutes or until crispy and light golden.
Storage
The white bean dip should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Avocado can darken as it oxidizes, but you can preserve it longer by keeping it in a container with as little air as possible. You could lightly press plastic wrap over the top of the dip before closing the lid.
