Seriously Crispy Air Fryer Gnocchi

Air fryer gnocchi is so crispy, is ready in just 13 minutes and does not need to be boiled! This is a great side dish alternative to potatoes or pasta, and also makes a great snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb gnocchi 450 g; see note 1
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Heat air fryer to 200°C/390°F.
  • Toss gnocchi with olive oil, salt and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  • Transfer gnocchi to the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for a total time of 13 minutes, shaking 3-4 times during the cooking process. Gnocchi should be golden and crispy.

Notes

1- this recipe has been tested with shelf stable gnocchi only. Cook times may differ for cauliflower gnocchi, fresh gnocchi, or frozen gnocchi
Storage
Store in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 2 days; note that the gnocchi will dry out as it sits.
Reheat
Bring the air fryer back up to 200°C/390°F. Return gnocchi to the basket, spray with oil, and heat for 3-5 minutes, until warmed through.
