Ranch Seasoning

Ditch the store-bought stuff and make your own ranch seasoning at home! This homemade ranch seasoning recipe makes a delicious (healthier) ranch dressing and is great on meat and veggies as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley note 1
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Stir together all spices. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 year.

Notes

  1. you can crush the parsley and dill with a mortar to help them mix in better, or leave them as is
Storage
Store in an air tight container at room temperature for up to 1 year.
To make ranch yogurt dip:
Combine 1 teaspoon ranch seasoning with ½ cup plain yogurt
To make ranch dressing:
Combine 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning with ¼ cup mayonnaise, ¼ cup buttermilk, ¼ cup plain yogurt and 1 teaspoon lemon juice
