Strawberry Bruschetta with Cinnamon-Sugar Wonton Chips

This strawberry bruschetta has just three ingredients, and is served with baked cinnamon sugar wonton chips. A super fun and easy snack!

Ingredients

Strawberry Bruschetta

  • 2 cups strawberries stems removed, washed and diced into 0.5-1cm pieces
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • cup shredded basil loosely packed

Cinnamon-Sugar Wonton Chips

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 package wonton wrappers (at least 40 wonton wrappers)

Instructions

Strawberry Bruschetta

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl, toss to combine.

Cinnamon-Sugar Wonton Chips

  • Pre-heat oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with silicone baking mats or parchment paper.
  • Slice individual wonton wrappers in half and arrange on baking sheet. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with approximately ⅛ tsp of cinnamon sugar per 'chip' {or, to taste}.
  • Bake for 5-7 minutes, until dark and crispy. Allow to cool for 3 or so minutes on baking sheet, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Keep your wonton wrappers covered with a moist paper towel or dish towel when you are not using them.
