Ingredients

  • 1 baguette (12 inch)
  • 2-3 ripe tomatoes
  • 4 ounces fresh mozzarella slices
  • 2-3 tablespoons pesto
  • fresh basil leaves
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Slice the bread lengthwise, toast if desired.
  • Spread the pesto on one side of the bread, top with tomato slices, salt and pepper as needed, top with mozzarella and basil.
