Notes

1- non-dairy milk works fine in this recipe as well
2- if you use thick cut or huge pieces of sourdough (ie: sliced from a boule), you'll need to increase the cook time
3- we tested this recipe in both a Cosori XL air fryer and an Instant Pot Vortex air fryer oven, and it worked well in both, however you need to pay special attention to the top rack in the air fryer oven; rotate racks and flip bread more frequently.
4- nutritional information is for ¼ of the batch; roughly 2.5 slices of French toast each. It does not include syrup or additional toppings.
Storage
  • Fridge- Store french toast in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Freezer- Wrap in parchment, and place in a larger meal prep container or freezer bag, and freeze for up to 3 months.
Reheating
Reheat at 350°F in an air fryer for 2-3 minutes, until crisp and warmed back through.
