Salted Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Granola Bars (No-Bake)

Only 15 minutes effort for perfect soft and chewy almond butter bars topped with dark chocolate and a sprinkling of sea salt!

Ingredients

Almond Butter Granola Bars

  • 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
  • 1 cup rice krispies
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil

Chocolate

  • 6 oz dark chocolate coarsely chopped
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • ¼ tsp coarse sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  • Prepare a 9x9 inch pan by lining with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix together coconut, Rice Krispies, oats and sliced almonds. Set aside.
  • In a medium pot, combine the almond butter, honey, brown sugar and coconut oil. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until everything is completely combined, and smooth.
  • Pour wet ingredients over dry, and stir until completely combined.
  • Press firmly into the prepared pan with a spatula. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.

Chocolate

  • In a double boiler, heat the chocolate and coconut oil, stirring until completely combined and smooth.
  • Using a spoon, drizzle the chocolate over the bars (over wax paper or parchment).
  • Sprinkle with salt.

Notes

Bars are best stored in the refrigerator. They will keep for up to 7 days in a sealed container.
